Terms & Conditions

General Notes:

1. We require a 20% deposit and 80% to be paid in progress payments as per builder’s standard rates.

2. We have allowed for the use of premium quality, our approved Australian based membrane products, waterproofing will give 10 years warranty.

3. All payment claims will be made under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 NSW.

4. Any work required to be carried out after normal working hours, Weekends, or Public Holidays will have a 15% added to the total amount.

5. The quote price is as per the scope of work only.

6. Once the quote is accepted, Owners Corporation and the Builder will enter a formal building contract.

7. Owners’ corporation, after their investigation, acknowledges that there is no council approval requirement for these works and indemnifies the builder from any loss or claim.

8. Any work variations will be confirmed prior to installation or completion of the jobs.

9. The area is required to be empty from any objects, tools and ready to be waterproofed unless otherwise advised.

10. We have not allowed rubbish removal unless otherwise stated above.

11. All materials used remain the property of Sydney Waterproofing Services Pty Ltd until paid for in full. All workmanship and building product are all guaranteed.

12. The builder might take videos and photos of before and after of work for media purposes.

13. Homeowners Warranty premium is additional and will be charged at cost.

14. Impress Tiling and Waterproofing does not take any responsibility if the building classification requires architectural drawing or any other required drawing or approval unless otherwise is state on scope of work.

15. Contractor (Builder or Strata) has the full responsibility to obtain any required documents from council prior to work commencement. Once the work has commenced, the full payment will be charged at the time of any withdrawal even if the work pauses for any reason by customer or other parties.

16. This proposal is valid for the next 15 days after it is provided to the customer.

17. Once the deposit is paid there will be no refund.
